It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Anne McCarty of Newark, Ohio, born in Vienna, West Virginia, who passed away on July 23, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Sidney Groce and Katherine Groce (Higgins); and her husband Charles A. McCarty. She is survived by : her children, Rae Anne Johnson (Robert), Jean Boorn (Dick), Barbara Orcutt, Jo Stewart, Anna McCarty, Patricia Conner (Jeff), Anita Maston (Tom) and Jack William Dusan; her granddaughter Annie Hale (Rich); her great grandchildren, Reece and Rylee Hale; and her siblings, Steven Groce, Mary Katherine Groce (Leroy) and Nancy Bawn (Walter).

Memorial contributions may be made in Carolyn's memory to Licking County Humane Society.
