He is survived by: his children, Monika Howard, Kenneth Sontag (Courtney) and Gary Sontag, Jr. (Penny); his stepchildren, Jim Bishop (Patti), Julie Bishop (Ben) and Karen Betscher (Bill); and his pet Joe Lee. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
