He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Barrett and Marjorie Barrett (Dorn); his sister Carol Carlisle; his daughters-in-law, Debra Barrett and Aprille Barrett; and his stepson Gregory Duston.
He is survived by: his wife Frieda Barrett; his children, Mark Barrett, Scott Barrett, Jeffrey Barrett (Lisa) and Jeri Potts (Joe); his stepson Rick Duston; and his siblings, Stephen, Dennis Barrett and Molly Widdis. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
