She was predeceased by: her parent Burley J.; her sister Irene O. Edman; and her brother-in-law William Edward Fairall. She is survived by: her son Jay A. Ricket of Newark; her sisters, Rachel A. Fairall of Centerburg, Darlene Boyce (Donald) of Heath and Beckie Osborne (Curtis); her close friend Tom Lawrence; and her sons, Gideon Jones and Michael Justice. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and a great-great nephew.
