He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer H. Spence and Lorena P. Spence (Harmon); and his daughter Lorena Irene Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Donna Grace Spence (Sayers); his sons, Stephen H. Spence (Ruth), George D. Spence (Jen) and Walter A. "Wally" Spence (Laura); his brother David Spence; and his grandchildren, Tonya, Josh, Shane, Thomas, Ian, Eric, Zev, Caitlin, Ben, Drew and Lexi. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
