He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank and Molly; his siblings, Dennis Sedivy and Barbara "Joann" Janek; and his close friend Dave Yates.

He is survived by : his wife Linda; his children, Richard Sedivy (Julee) of Parkman and Laura Sedivy of Burton; his grandchildren, Logan Sedivy and Austin Klatik; and his siblings, Terry Sedivy (Maria) of Newbury Twp and Sharon Dewey (Robert) of Montville Twp.
