He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Gerwe; his significant other Wellmeier; and his children, Michael Gerwe (Elizabeth Carlson), Luke Gerwe (Elizabeth Webster), Toni Hartlaub and Kelly Napier (Denny Napier). He is also survived by his six grandchildren and a host of caring relatives and friends.
