He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wells and Edith Wells; his granddaughter Kesha Abernathy Jett; and his nephew Marc Frantz. He is survived by: his wife Sue Steinebrunner Wells; his sons, Kenneth Wells (Kelly), Robert Wells (Kathy), William Wells, Jr. and Keven Wells (Vangie); his grandchildren, Rachel Wells, Rebecca Wells, Melissa Elfers, Maxwell Darland, Isabel Wells, Shyla Wells, Gavin Wells, Cassie Reyes, Tabernea Hoover and Leah Burton; his sisters, Mary Dennis (Jack) and Elizabeth Frantz; and his sister-in-law Mary Meyers (Mickey). He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
