Bender and Rosemary Bender; her former husband Dennis Leonard; her children, Cynthia Leonard-Krinsky (Jeffrey), Barbara Doyle (Larry), Cathy DeCoske (Robert), Dennis Leonard (Michele) and John Leonard; and her siblings, Leo Bender (Judy), David Bender (Marjorie), Mary Hilinski (Anthony), Rosemary Magee (Sam), Margaret Bender and Joe Bender (Rosemary).
She is survived by: her husband Michael Kocsmaros; her grandchildren, Natasha Krinsky, Alexandra Krinsky (Vince), Popolizio, Cynthia Johannessen (Grant), Kate Washburn, Stephanie Agee (James), Adam DeCoske and McKayla Leonard; her great grandchildren, Emma, Carrie, Lucy, Camille Washburn, Henry Agee and Audrey Johannessen; and her siblings, Anne Behrend (Tom), Arthur Bender (Marianne) and Tom Bender (Lynn).
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Angela Church (20970 Lorain Rd, Fairview Park, OH 44126).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Barbara's name to Lake Erie Girl Scout Council or Lake Erie Nature and Science Center.
