We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2025, at the age of 92, Leland Ray Gillilan of North Olmsted, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Gillilan and Ralph Gillilan; his wife Marilyn Gillilan; his grandchildren, Jennifer Burns (Chris), Jillian Donmoyer (Eric), Jeremiah Boland (Aimee), Matthew Gillilan (Michelle), Elisa Benedict (Scott), Cody Tyree, Joshua Gillilan (Heather), Christina Bucur and Zachary Tyree; and his sisters, Helen, Wilma and Eileen.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Bucur (Greg), Greg Gillilan (Debbie), Pamela Boland (Russell), Polly Sanok (John) and Gary Gillilan (Alexandra). He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral & Cremation Services (6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Chapel (6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070).
