She was predeceased by : her parents, James Thomas and Martha Sandercock; her husband Donald L. Barnes; and her siblings, James Sanders, Charles Sanders, Sylvia Thompson, Alyce Murad, Arline Duboy and Chet Sands.

She is survived by : her children, Donald Barnes Jr. (Charlene), Henry Barnes (Bernadette), Charlene Bias (Mike), Nelson Barnes (Lenna), Alyce Scott (Jerry) and Michelle Stout (Tom); her sibling Thomas Sandercock; and her pets, Khalua and Chase. She is also survived by her husband, family, friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral & Cremation Services (6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at the Sunset Memorial Park.
