We bid farewell to James W. Comerford of North Ridgeville, Ohio, born in Avon, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 12, 2025 at the age of 87. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Mona; his son Timothy Comerford; his parents, Coletta Comerford and James Comerford Sr.; his sisters, Judy Newell (Jim) and Anne Gilkeson (Steve); and his brothers-in-law, Glenn Nells and Robert Skapin.
He is survived by: his children, James Comerford (Zenaida) of Mansfield, Maureen Lee of North Ridgeville, William Comerford (Beth) of Bucyrus and Colleen Franke (Travis) of Avon; and his siblings, William Comerford (Regina) of North Ridgeville, Cathleen Nells, Patricia Skapin and Jennifer Comerford. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home (36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville, OH 44039). A prayer will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (35777 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville, OH 44039-3064). The military honors will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Peter Cemetery (35777 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville, OH 44039-3064).
