It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Burdell James Rupe of Ontario, Ohio, born in Bucyrus, Ohio, who passed away on March 10, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Rupe and Mable Rupe (Saxton); his daughter Teresa Kay Rupe; his siblings, Herbert Rupe Jr., Darrell Rupe and Evelyn Edison; and his siblings-in-law, Margo Rupe, Tom Edison, Chuck Legron and Carl Gettemy.

He is survived by : his wife Miriam Linginger Rupe; his son Steve Rupe (Alicia) of Ontario; his granddaughter Kimberly Rupe Leedy (Josh) of Ontario; his great grandchildren, Graham and Brooks Leedy; and his siblings, Richard Rupe, Esther Legron and Marry Gettemy.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ontario United Methodist Church.
