He was predeceased by : his parents, Lemoine "Lee" Hendrix and Martha Hendrix (Dawson). He is survived by : his wife Darlene (Mullins) of Ontario, Ohio; his sons, David (Heather Hendrix) and Daniel (Carissa Hendrix); his grandchildren, Kylie Hendrix, Sarah Hendrix, Matthew Hendrix, Ashlee Hendrix, Daniel "Danny" Hendrix, Jr. and Gary; his sisters, Jackie Spencer (Mike) of Reynoldsburg, OH and Louise Snively (John) of Hanahan, SC; his sister-in-law Diane Mullins of Akron, OH; his extended family, Joanie and David Worthen of Marion, OH; and his friends, Paul and Debbie Wilhelm of Akron, Ohio.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers you may donate in Gary's honor to the Wounded Warrior Project or a local animal shelter.
