He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, James Shepherd and Jennifer Howard (Mike); his grandchildren, Megan Lewallen (Brian), Brandy Schuffenecker (Eric), Kristina Howard and Kevin Howard; his great grandchildren, Bria, Evie, Tucker, Ryder, Bristol, Kendall, Arianna and Zane; his siblings, Robert Shepherd (Janet) and Darla Vancena; and also Michael Shepherd (Sandy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
