She was predeceased by : her parents, Kenneth Smith and Lois Smith (Jones); her sister Nancy Lee Smith; and her granddaughter LaToya. She is survived by : her husband Arthur; her children, Carol Alsept (Robert Bermejo), Lois Alsept, Taylor Alsept III (Serena Bermejo) and April May Alsept (Thomas Fox); and her siblings, Lou Spears, Alice Peyatt, Dolores Ipock, Kenneth, Robert, Bill and Jim Smith. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
