He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomas Palencsar and Anna Palencsar (Urbaniak); his wife Gertrude; his son Jack; and his siblings, Stephen, Thomas, John and Mary.
He is survived by: his child Patti Rutherford (Chuck) of Joey, Janice; his grandchildren, Charlie Rutherford (Valerie), Jamie Carroll (Larry), Kaitlyn Palencsar and Madison Palencsar-Gunta (Ram); his stepgrandson Adam Murphy (Melissa); and his great grandchildren, Logan and Charli Carroll.
