He is survived by: his stepmother Molly Vardaman; his wife Janet; his children, Josette, Joseph (Mellisa), Jodie Lorenzen (Jason), Jonathan (Jaime Shiffler) and Richard (Violet Dazley); his grandchildren, Katie, Robert, Allie, Joseph III, Mike, Dennis and Dylan; and his siblings, Toots Beverly (Fred), Butch Vardaman (Bernadette), Debbie Burke (Ken) and Connie Cirgenski (Cliff). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
