He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Schmalenberger and Bertha Schmalenberger (Silva); and his brothers, Eddie and Robert Schmalenberger. He is survived by: his children, Paul G. Kvet (Christine) of Melbourne, FL, Brian Shirk (Leanne) of Independence, Amber McVay (Donald) of Marietta and Brittnee Weeman (Ethan) of Orrville; and his grandchildren, Airie, Gabriel, Lily, Liam, Lizzie and Will.
