He was predeceased by: his brother Tristian Garrod; his grandparents, George Garrod and Barbara Kidd; and his cousins, Mac Kidd and Shauna Gilbert.

He is survived by: his parents, Barry Garrod and Gail Garrod (Kidd); his siblings, Ashli Hartzler (Tim), Lindsay Volgegsang (Cory), Collin Garrod, Hayley Garrod, Faith Blakeman (Carter) and Ethan Garrod; his siblings' children, Ruye Volgegsang and Josiah Hartzler; his grandparents, Andy Kidd and Sandy Davis (Tom); his aunt Kimmy Gilbert; his uncle Mike Kidd (Mary Jo); and his cousins, John and Ellie.
