Thompson; his children, Carolyn Rose Chute (Jim), Anna Nichole Meehan (Tom), Daniel Gifford Thompson (LaRue) and David Mark Thompson (Linda); his grandchildren, Bryanmichael Porter (Kim), Ashley McWherter (Benjamin), Caleb Porter, Eric Chute (Chelsea), Chelsea Young (Tim), Charlie Davis (Jessica), Thomas Meehan, Cadet Noah Meehan and Sebastian Meehan; and his siblings, Robert Austin and Louise Smith. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
