It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Librado Cuevas in Ottawa, Ohio, born in Alamo, Texas, who passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Matias Cuevas and Cristina Cuevas (Diaz); his wife Maria Angelita Cortez; his daughter Suzanna Cuevas Anderson; and his brothers, Ascension Cuevas, Florentino Cuevas and Herman Cuevas.
He is survived by: his children, Maria Elena Guthrie (Jerry) of Marblehead, Carlos Cuevas (Sue) of Port Clinton, Diana Below (Dave Turner) of Carlisle, OH, Eduardo Cuevas (Doretta) of Port Clinton, Norma Traub of Horton, MI and Daniel Cuevas of North Ft; and his siblings, Roque Cuevas (Lilian) of Port Clinton and Alicia Arrizola of Port Clinton. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
