Knippen of Ottoville, Ohio, born in Ottawa, Ohio, who passed away on January 6, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Othmar Smith and Clara Smith (Hilvers); her husband George Knippen Jr.; her brother Paul; and her siblings-in-law, Karen Smith, Kenneth Kramer and George Bonifas.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Pohlman (Charles) of Delphos, Karen Ricker (Dennis) of Ottoville, Debra Verhoff (Timothy) of Kalida, Rita Klosterman (Patrick) of Brookville, Kevin Knippen (Cindy) of Ottoville and Michael Knippen (Jackie Rose) of Ottoville; and her siblings, Dorothy Bonifas, Joan Moening (Ray) and Kenneth Smith (Karen). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren.
