He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Thelma. He is survived by: his wife Kathy E. Jewart McCormick; his child Korri; his grandson Nicolas Baraga; his sister Mary Pishnery; his sibling's children, Keith Pishnery (Jennifer Wooley), Brendan Pishnery (Chelsea), Cameron Pishnery (Meghan), Lisa Molder and Shelly DePalma; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mackenzie, Aiden, Morgan, Deacon and Grant; and his close friend Lilly.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Rich to the Lake County Humane Society.
