He is survived by: his spouse Dorothy Knepper Schutz; his daughter Paulette Smith (Bud) of Pandora; his granddaughter Cricket Dobmeyer (Gabe) of Coldwater, Ohio; his stepgrandchildren, Dave Smith, Gretchen Kiefer, Craig Smith, Shelley Smith and Matt Smith; and his great grandchildren, Zac Dobmeyer and Knox Dobmeyer.
