With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emery Francis Major of Strongsville, Ohio, who passed away on May 6, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Jill Johnson (Dan) of Chandler, AZ, Evette Major of Strongsville, OH and Juliann Major of Chattanooga, TN; his siblings, Shari Harris (Gary), Peg Bower (Jim), Tony Major (Eileen) and David Major; his grandchildren, Austin, Savana, Sadie and Elijah; and his nieces and nephews, Jeffry, Kate, Matthew, Michael and Marie.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the A. Ripepi & Sons Funeral Home (18149 Bagley Rd, Cleveland, OH 44130). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (7367 York Rd, Parma, OH 44130). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 12:45 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
