She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl A. Steele and Novella D. Steele (Chapman); and her niece Christine Steele. She is survived by: her siblings, Doreen Wright (Ronald) and John C. Steele; and her siblings' children, Natalie Wilkinson (William), Ronald Wright Jr. and Stephanie Hutter (Joe). She is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews; good friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Joan's name to the Licking County Humane Society.
