He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Scharbrough and Sarah Elizabeth Butler (Allen); his wife Marcella Scharbrough (Dearth); his son Gayle Scharbrough; his grandsons, Brenden and Cory Scharbrough; his brothers, William Henry Scharbrough, Martin David Scharbrough, Joseph Scharbrough, James Edward Scharbrough (Nancy), Samuel Scharbrough (Bonnie), Charles Ulysses Scharbrough and Robert Scharbrough (Shirley); and his pet Hollie Jo.
He is survived by : his children, David Scharbrough (Donna) of Portsmouth, Tish Canter (David) of Oak Hill, Denise Shepherd (Randy) of Pedro, Wayne Scharbrough (Debbie) of Piketon and Paul Scharbrough (Sherry) of Chillicothe; his siblings, John Scharbrough (Maxine) and Christine Terry; and his sister-in-law Rose Scharbrough. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren.
