With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rita May Friess (Perrysburg, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, James and Norma (Hahn); and her siblings, June Canby, John and Jim Snyder.
She is survived by: her husband Jay Friess; her children, Rob Friess, Pam Carpenter (Bruce) and Andy Friess (Jodie); her siblings, Joanne Tomaszewski (Mike), Margaret Snyder and Joe Snyder (Michelle); her grandsons, Kevin Carpenter (Shelby), Justin Carpenter (Monique), Jacob Borcherding (Erin) and Lucas Friess (Elizabeth); and her great grandchildren, Elijah, Sophia, Conner, Elliot, Everett, Frankie Ruth and Delilah.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home (4094 OH-105, Pemberville, OH 43450). Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Perrysburg First Church (200 W 2nd St, Perrysburg, OH 43551). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may take the form of contributions to: Wood Lane Industries or Perrysburg First Church.
