He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl W. Harbauer and Zelma A. Harbauer (Britten); and his siblings, Paul W. Harbauer (Grace) and Isabelle M. Burkholder (Joseph). He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Salay); his sons, John T. Harbauer and James E. Harbauer (Dianne Stentz); and his grandchildren, Benjamin of Perrysburg and Anna Harbauer of Perrysburg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials take the form of contributions to: St. Rose Catholic Church or Ohio Living Hospice.
