He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Swearingen and Mary Chettle Swearingen; his wife Alice "Vonnie" Smith Swearingen; and his close friend Patricia Bauman. He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Freudenberg (Frank) of New Waterford and Tammy Swearingen of Petersburg; his granddaughter Stephanie Kuhlman (Scott) of New Waterford; and his sister Peggy Kelly (Dirk) of Lisbon.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home (28 N Main St, Columbiana, OH 44408). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
