He was predeceased by: his parents, Federico Tijerina and Martina Tijerina (Garza); his wife Connie Tijerina (Ruiz); his children, MaryJane Tijerina, Anna Flores and Tony Tijerina; and his granddaughter Anna Tijerina.
He is survived by: his grandson Tony; and his children, Fred Tijerina (Linda), Felix Tijerina (Denise), Marylou Zamora, Dorothy Leon, Dinah Flores, Danny Tijerina and Rosendo Flores. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
