He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth "Liz" Marckel; his children, Vonda Sweeney (Michael), Valerie Wood (Christopher), Eric Herdman (Sarah) and Marc Herdman (Natalie); his grandchildren, Lauren Smith (Kyle), Michael Sweeney, Caleb Wood, Amelia Wood, Sam Herdman and Ben Herdman; and his siblings, Glen Marckel (Gloria), Leslie Marckel (Cindy) and Ramona Gephart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken's name can be made to Lithopolis United Methodist Church.
