He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Franz and Florence Franz; his brother Robert Franz; and his sister-in-law Patti Franz. He is survived by: his wife Carole Ann Franz (Girard); his children, Steven Franz (Tammie), Julie Means (Timothy), Kathleen Palmer (Brian) and John Franz (Pamela); his grandchildren, Allison, Meghan, Patrick, Nicholas, Carson, Tyler and Jack; his brother Michael Franz; and his sister-in-law Karen Franz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
