She was predeceased by : her husband Berton Walter; her daughters, Carol Keeseeker and Betty Hughes; her great grandchildren, Carlie Perkins and Logan Keesecker; her brother Iler Fausey; and her son-in-law Tom Lane.

She is survived by : her former life partner Charles A. Clark; her daughters, Ann Lane, Janet Pertner (Paul) and Kay Oldham; and her close friend Sammy. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
