Stephen Bostic Houchins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Bostic Houchins of Pomeroy, Ohio, who passed away on June 9, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Charles "Bill" and Jessie Virginia Bostic Houchins. He is survived by: his significant other A. Victoria Casto (Vicki); his daughters, Jo Angela Robinson, Stephanie Jean and Susan Elizabeth Eason (Hubert A.); his grandchildren, Katharine V. Alexander (Francois Henrist), Carol A. Hager (Joseph), Nicholas W. Alexander (Ashley), Jessica E. Abrahamson (Riley), Bostic H. Eason and Katelynne M. Robinson; his great grandchildren, Everly, Olive, Hannon Hager, Rhys, Rowan Abrahamson and Mason Alexander; his sister-in-law Karen Robinson; his pet Bella; his siblings, Wilma and Billie Jo Krawsczyn (John); and his son-in-law Daryl Robinson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at 8:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Heath United Methodist Church (339 S 3rd Ave, Middleport, OH 45760). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Meigs County Council on Aging/Meals on Wheels program.
