It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Sims of Portage, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on July 5, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Sims to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernard Sims and Thelma Sims; and his siblings, Sandra and Jeff. He is survived by : his son Jim Sims (Christina); his grandchildren, Audra and Nate; and his siblings, Greg Sims (Lynda), Joshua Sims, Sharon Lee (Andy) and Karen Montgomery (Bryan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

No services will be held at this time due to the pandemic.
