It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Patrick Gay of Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melton Gay and Carolyn Gay (Trout). He is survived by: his wife Lisa Gay (Lyons); his children, Lacy Gay (Virginia), Joshua Gay, Katie Davis (Robert), Amy Kiser, Britnie Gay, Jessica Gay and Sarah Jenkins (Danny); his grandchildren, Mariah Gay, Grace Gay, Trey Davis, Branson Davis, Josiah Davis, Shelby Davis, Garrett Davis, Oaklynn Kiser, Lainey Kiser, Israel, Isaiah, Madison, Caden and Westyn; and his siblings, Robert Gay (Kim) and Darlene Payne (Gary).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Truth Tabernacle (7601 Ohio River Rd, Wheelersburg, OH 45694). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
