Anna Korner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2020, at the age of 97, Anna Korner of Powhatan Point, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anna Korner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Matesick and Helen Matesick (Markovic); her husband Waldo "Bud" Korner; her brothers, John and Nicholas "Butch" Matesick; and her great grandchildren, Annalise, Elizabeth and Ali Keeton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rosalie Keeton (Michael) of Zanesville, OH, Janice, Martha Hores (George) of Wheeling, WV, Nancy Potts (Mark) of Sardis, OH and Kristine Brokaw (Jeff) of South Park, PA; and her siblings, Milan Matesick (Carol) of Powhatan Point, OH, Mary "Cookie" Kriechbaum of Powhatan Point, OH and Barbara Mitchell of Myrtle Beach. She is also survived by seven Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family has requested that masks are worn and social distancing be in place during the visitation and services.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 100 Carrie Street Powhatan Point, OH 43942 or to Valley Hospice 10686 St. Rt. 150 Rayland, OH 43943.
