It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Joan Caldwell of Powhatan Point, Ohio, born in Beallsville, Ohio, who passed away on April 19, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Hamilton and Laura Decker Hamilton; her husband Dale E. Caldwell; and her brother John Hamilton. She is survived by: her children, Randy Dale Caldwell (Lori) of Powhatan Point and Marla Renee Akridge (Ron) of New Philadelphia, OH; her grandchildren, Luke Caldwell (Stephanie), Rhea Pittman (Vince) and Bethany Caldwell (Jason Bischof); her great grandchildren, Gracee Caldwell, Kalisha Caldwell, Emmalynn Pittman, Ian Pittman, Simon Bischof and Bischof; and her siblings, Nancy Garrison of Beallsville, Jerry Hamilton (Nadine) of Beallsville and Jim Hamilton (Juanita) of Barnesville.
