It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn M. Rutter of Powhatan Point, Ohio, who passed away on August 2, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcus A. Saner and Virginia Barlow Saner; her husband Victor L. Rutter; and her brother Jan B. Saner. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Crowe of Powhatan Point and Leslie Thompson (Mark) of St. Clairsville; her brother Marcus Saner (Phyllis) of Powhatan Point; her sister-in-law Joanne Saner of Powhatan Point, Ohio.; her grandchildren, Cameron Thompson and Alayna Crowe; and her great grandchild Prince Mitchell.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Powhatan United Methodist Church or Liza's Place.
