With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry L. Skidmore of Powhatan Point, Ohio, born in Garrison, Kentucky, who passed away on July 3, 2021 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Buster Kenneth and June Richardson Skidmore; his sons, Larry Skidmore, Jr. and Harry V. Skidmore; and his siblings, Homer, Kenneth, Don, David, Tommy, Mike Skidmore and Freda Haulk.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret J. "Bird" Brice Skidmore of Powhatan Point; his children, Al Strickland of Powhatan Point, Joe Strickland of Columbus, OH., Jim Strickland of Powhatan Point, Shannon Sherer (Dan) of Dallas, OR and Ron Skidmore (Angie) of Dallas, OR; his grandchildren, Zack Strickland, Kristen Borton, Katie Strickland, Tina Rowe, Curtis Skidmore, Ashley Sparks, Johnny Borrows, Jessica Cavender, Jacob Vida and Bradley Shew; and his siblings, Nelson Skidmore (Martha) of Garrison, KY, Wilma Collier of Garrison, KY, Betty Bloomfield (JR) of Garrison, KY and Cora May (Ray) of Garrison, KY. He is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren.
