It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Montie Richard Jenkins of Proctorville, Ohio, who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Jenkins and Garnet Holley Jenkins; and his siblings, James Jenkins and Helen Meadows. He is survived by: his wife Linda G. Moore Jenkins; his children, Richard Jenkins Jr. (Becky), Cheryl Burgess, Bruce and Sharon Jenkins; his grandchildren, Brittany Lenex, Jimmy, Jeremy Jenkins, Kalie, Jerad Burgess, Taylor Burgess, Madison Burgess, Logan Chapman and Chayce Chapman; his great grandchildren, Briahna, Kylen, Layton, Lucas, Wren of Emma, A. J., Cora, Kyrie, Kailyn, Jordan and Aiden; and his sister Jo Withers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hall Funeral Home & Crematory (625 OH-775, Proctorville, OH 45669). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at the Forest Memorial Park (12766 US-60, Milton, WV 25541).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the 1st Baptist Church of Proctorville.
