He is survived by : his wife Kathy S Mehaffey (Landon); his children, Sean R Mehaffey (Jennifer), Sarah B Mehaffey (Dale Sampsel Jr) and Simon P Mehaffey (Erica Shenefield); his sisters, Alice Belt (Chuck) and Ruth Price; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Mehaffey.
