She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Bosko and Rachel Bosko; her husband Garland Straten; her sister Clementine Dickinson; and her great grandchild Bailey Simons.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Hluch (Daniel) and Pam Frank (Dan); her grandchildren, Kelly Householder (Marc), Shawnna Mentzer and Daniel "Duke" Frank (Pam); and her great grandchildren, MacKallie, Delanie Householder, Landon Mentzer, Avery Mentzer and Zander Frank.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Portage Foundation Bailey Simons Memorial Scholarship Fund.
