He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bisson and Gladys Bisson (DeFluiter); his siblings, Eugene Bisson and Gladys Oaks (Bisson); and his grandson Jason Bisson.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Bisson (Hughes); his daughters, Betty Johnson, Barbara Capron (Michael), Carol Weyandt (Denny) and Darlene McClain (Kary); his grandchildren, Melynda, Abrea and Christopher; and his great grandchildren, Catie, Ryan, Cody, Carlie, Sylvena, Millie, Layla and Alexander.
