He was predeceased by: his siblings, Freda Ward, Irma Head, Helen Sampson, Thomas Sampson, Robert Sampson and Donna Jean Mound; and his great grandchild Jordan.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sampson (Huggins); his grandchildren, Meganne Braddock (Jason), Amanda Gilli (Craig), Zac Dailey and Amber Dailey (Travis Adkins); his great grandchildren, Aurora, Carson, Wyatt and Connor; his sisters, Frances Davis and Ruth Gintert (Dick); his sister-in-law Linda Huggins; and also, Connie Hall (Mike), Kathy Sampson and Jennifer Smith (Mike).
