He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldis Phile and Edith Phile (Shilliday); his wife Ardythe; and his siblings, Merle, Everett and Eileen.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory Phile, Diana Kentner (Ed) and Jeffrey Phile (Debbie); his grandchildren, Kristen Kentner, Jason Kentner, Emily Reeves, Ryan Phile and Jenna Phile; his great grandchild Olivia Dixon; and his nephew Earl.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Edinburg United Church.
