She was predeceased by: her mother Bertece Dyke (Day); and her brother William Dyke. She is survived by: her husband Bruce Hastings; her children, Deborah Watson (Bryan) and Bryan Hastings (Sheila); and her grandchildren, Marcus Watson (Lauren), Lucus Watson, Brianna Hastings and Dakota Hastings.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of the Western Reserve.
