He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Matthews and Recie Matthews (Kerley); his grandson Matthew John Riemenschneider; and also Bonnie Matthews-Dietrich. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his daughters, Debbie Wine (Donald) and Beverly Matthews; his grandchildren, Rick Wine, John Wine (Amy), Jimmy Wine, Cybill Hamilton (Allen), Amanda Riemenschneider (Matt Wiedlund) and Nathan Matthews; his great grandchildren, Abbie, Jessie Wine, Zoey Hamilton and Chase Wiedlund; his siblings, Jack Matthews, Mary Cornell, Lee Bretti and Glenna Vann; and his close friend Carl Lohmier. He is also survived by his many nieces & nephews.
